Maria Renata Pinheiro
1966, Sao Paulo, SP

Inspired by childhood memories and a deep connection with nature, I seek to transform landscapes and emotions into art. Each work is a unique composition of colors, textures, and abstractions that invites the viewer to an intimate reflection on the environment and time. Using techniques ranging from acrylics to unusual materials like soot collected from the remnants of fires, charcoal, and talcum powder, my works express a longing for a vibrant and pulsating nature, while also mourning the current state of degradation.

This duality is present in my creations, reflecting both a critical and hopeful stance—an urgent cry for preservation, while also celebrating what can still be saved.
